What is Fallout Shelter?

    Build your underground civilization. Fallout Shelter is a role-playing game available on iOS and Android devices. It was created by the developers of Bethesda and released in 2015. The game is based on the Fallout series about life during a post-apocalyptic world after a nuclear war. 


What to expect:

    In Fallout Shelter, you are given an underground vault for which you are in control. People called "Dwellers" help to keep the vault functioning. Dwellers can be assigned to any rooms you can build in the vault like a diner, medical bay, water treatment, and power generator using bottlecaps. Diner, water treatment, and power generator rooms are important for the resources and functioning of the vault. A sufficient amount of all three resources is vital for the dwellers' health. It can take time to obtain resources, so you can rush the process which can be risky to get them faster. If a rush succeeds, resources and bottlecaps are rewarded, but if it fails, giant roaches and fires can hurt the dwellers and no resources are given. 

    Sending dwellers to explore the wasteland can be beneficial for finding equipment like weapons and medical supplies. Make sure the dwellers are equipped with medical supplies called "stimpaks" to keep them healed when encountering danger. Weapons can be used to defend against raiders and roaches. The dwellers all have levels and as they increase from working, they better their skills. Completing challenges can reward bottlecaps or Vault-Tec cases that come with cards of many rewards.
